CSRDE Best Practices in Student Retention Awards 2024
CSRDE announced our Student Retention Awards at NSSR 2024 on November 7. Congratulations to all of our award winners!
- Leslie Tod, Kim Williams, Sarah Wray Marshall, Adrienne Pollard, and Alicia Caruso of the University of South Florida won the 2024 Best Practices in Student Retention Award for their paper Every Step of the Way: How Academic Advocaty Supports Persistence and Progression to Graduation by Leveraging Practitioner-Informed Data Platform. Best Practices Award winners must demonstrate evidence of a system-wide approach to the institution’s retention issues.
- Mike Freel and Sharon Rea of Bellevue University received the 2024 Institutional Research Leadership in Student Retention Award for their paper A Guide for Assessing Student Retention and Recommended Strategies for Change.This award is given to the paper best demonstrating the importance of institutional research to the field of student retention.
- Robert Terry, George Bogaski, and Nicole Campbell of the University of Oklahoma were presented the 2024 Director’s Award for their paper, Evaluating Options in a Test-Optional Environment. The Director’s Award is given to the paper that best addresses an issue of current interest and need in the field of student retention and success.
- Christie Soltys of Quinnipiac University won the 2024 Best Poster Award for the poster Is Your Academic Deficiency Process Still Relevant?.
